About the Designer
Founded in Paris in 1946, the House of Dior brought haute couture sensibility to eyewear before any other fashion house. In the late 1960s, the brand partnered with Austrian manufacturer Optyl, whose lightweight, ultra-flexible acetate made possible forms that had never existed in eyewear before — frames conceived as jewelry for the face rather than functional accessories.
Condition
Deadstock with original lens.
Deadstock means never worn, but not untouched by time. Some frames may have minor storage marks or traces from showroom visits.
