Founded in New York in 1983 by Christian Roth and Eric Domege, the brand made history in 1990 when Roth became the first eyewear designer inducted into the CFDA — championed by Anna Wintour, Michael Kors, and Marc Jacobs. The label went on to collaborate with Karl Lagerfeld, design for Helmut Lang's runway shows, and land on the cover of Vogue. Their frames have been worn by Kate Moss, Kurt Cobain, Naomi Campbell, Lenny Kravitz, and more.
This piece is from the personal archive of the designer, Christian Roth.
